With all the pieces in place, it actually came out better than I hoped it would. I never did come up with a good solution for adding the sight to the end of it so its not perfect, but for the use at a con for the weekend I think it will be more than adequate.
The only real problem I am coming across with this one was probably a poor selection of paint. After days of drying and clearcoat, the Silver one the handle is still rubbing off on my hands. Hopefully this wont be much of an issue with gloves on, but it's only gotta last a weekend.
For having the idea 5 days prior to even getting the supplies, I'm pretty happy with how fast it all came together.
